The Ramsey, MN plant needed to move away from ready-mix concrete. “The costs of a ready-mix operation were just eating into our profits too much”, says plant engineer Jeff Lazar. “We really wanted to migrate to self–compacting concrete, but we knew how intricate and detailed the process was.
